Statue Gurgu Volcano

After I beat the boss a statue disappears somewhere with a door behind it. Is that statue inside a room in the volcano or in a cave somewhere?

The 'statue' u talk about's blocking ur passage to the throne, kill the boss to remove em or if u are referring to something else, be more specific
