Dr. Mario game cheats on me and takes over for a split secon

Is the game made to purposefully cheat on you when you have a pill and it is set to go down on the right color and then momentarily the game will take control and move said pill without your doing anything? Or is it just a glitch in our game. I get so frustrated because I will have a perfect game going and then the game will just jack up one pill and throw you off just enough that it makes me want to kick in the console! Help!~
