Hammer trouble!!!

Hi im having trouble getting the hammer i cant run the tiny ledge and get to the chest in time ! plus i keep falling HELP!!! is there sny cheat or easier way to do it?

First of all, there is always a mini-boss room to get the dungeon item so you are obviously doing something wrong.
