How can i have the gold scale

In order to get the golden scale you have to do 4 things: get the biggest fish as a kid, get the biggest fish as an adult, get the hookshot, and get the scarecrow to help you. when your a kid try to get a 10 lb fish and before leaving to go and get the other stones as a kid, make sure to talk to the scarecrow closest to the water and play the notes with ocarina: c- down, a, c-down, a, c-down, a, c-down, a (until he stops you.) (thats what i did.) after that leave until become an adult and you get the hookshot as an adult (which is when you go to the grave yard to get i from the dead gravekeeper.) after that go to the scarecrow and talk to him. then play the song you did that one time as a kid. when your done he'll tell you to play that song if you need help to get some where and the his friend (the other scarecrow) will help you. now that you've got that down, go walk over to where the the fishing island is. when you do the fairy will fly away and glow green. play the song and the scarecrow will pop out. use your hook shot and go in and fish. when your in the biggest fish will be in the middle of the pond somewhere (mine wieghed 19 lb.) after getting the biggest fish the guy at the counter will give the golden scale which lets you swim really deep

note: when you get the gold scale, go to the lake dr. and swim in his measuring pool. when you touch the bottom a sound will go off. swim back up adn talk to the dr. and he'll give you a heart.
