Instant return to the race

On online multiplayer mode on pc if i go off the track i loose up to 10 seconds some other players go off and straight back on without any lost time how and is there a button i can press to speed up the return to the race?

Id like to know the answer to this myself... i see cars tumbling in front of me and they end up futher ahead while i was already in full throttle, yet i touch a side and I lose 3 places :/...
