How to keep heads from reaching top while clearing board

You've probably long since figured this out, but for others like me who recently got this game. I will answer. Use the specials(sets of 3 guys drawn on rocks), they will send the heads back to the bottom. Wait til they are near the top though, so you don't waste the specials. also try to turn the ones below the heads, while you can pull in the ones you need easier. I used the bear for my helper.
