What is the best strategy? I've tried many things and just can't get to gold. Any idea of the score needed for gold?

Unbury boards are tough. Start at the top and work down. move stones around once space opens and you can do so. scrutinize what's dropping down. I tried many, many times before getting it, using the black bear avatar. my score of 9957 earned me 5 stars. good luck!
