How do you get to the fields and meadows? i can't seem to find them. i have found the sign but still can't find the fields or meadows themselves even with the horse.

The sign is by a train that leads to the fields and meadows. but you need to unlock it first.

There is a glitch in the game you have too go too www.valusoft.com and download the patch.

The game was made with an error. You have to go to valusoft.com and download the patch, but after you do you have to start a new game. One sign that it worked that Ive noticed is that in the small animal home they now each have their own broom. Good luck :)
