How to play shot on shoulder length ball or short pitch bal

Hi there, well i am quite embarrass because my friend keep bowling short pitch ball and i don't know how to play that short length ball or hit six on that ball in EA Cricket 2007. I tried Shift + D + right or left Arrow . but it did not work, kindly tell me the trick... Best Regards

You can use 'w' key and for a six hit shift + 'w'. now for a hook use ur leg side arrow and for off upper cut use off side key.to perfect the shot practice in nets.
