How do i take a photo in recon mission

In order to take a photo, you have to be in such a close-reasonable range that the cross-hairs of the binoculars turn red, when you're on the bridge. or within range of, say, torpedo firing range or a little bit further... but you definitely don't have to be within torpedo firing range. anyway... to take a photo, raise either periscope and get see through it. you have to have your periscope in lock mode on a ship in order for a photo to be taken. note that for a certain mission, you need to take a couple of photos of different ships that are onsite for the objective to be completed...you'll know, just keep locking on different ships around the area and taking photos of them. then check to see if the objective is completed or not yet on the captain's log.
