Sims not thinking for themselves?

How can i get my sims to make their on decision after they have done something instead of just standing around? it does it on other sims but not this one? help!!

Check to make sure your freewill option is enabled. If it is, that means your sims are just too lazy to want to do anything (laziness of a sim does have something to do with it). To check for freewill, go into options, game options. Very bottom will have the box for you to select off or on for freewill.
