How do you do the hydra quest

Defeat the hydra how much it says to do it, i think 7 hydra times, then those rocks with the symbols click on the rocks when all the rocks are broken the should fall down then the chaos lord echerion is insid and then you have to kill him there is his staff defeat the staff when the staff is not in its place the chaos lord will be able to get hurt when the staff comes back the chaos lord does not get hurt by your weopon
