How do you age a sim?

On a cheat, you can set the age of a sim, once you've entered the cheat code, what do you do next? im confused :s

If you want to age a sim you have to buy them them a birthday cake and get your sim to blow out the candles and voila! your sim has aged!

There is a one more way to age ur sim just type testingcheatsenabled true and then hold shift button and click on ur sim and then there is a option called age ur sim click on it .finish.

Buy and birthday cake (From the party section) and then click the birthday cake and then it will give you the option to pick which sim you want to age up.

You can either do the birthday cake thing, which costs money, wait for the sim to naturally age up, or do testingcheatsenabled true and shift click on the sim. Once you have shift clicked, either edit sim in create a sim where you can make the sim younger or older, or trigger age transition.
