Kill the big guy first mission
How to kill the big guy in first mission ?
Answer from: wouter215
Whet you encounter the big robot before, pickup the rocket launcher (do not use it on the robot) in the small room with the hole in the floor (air duct), lug it all the way to the big guy (collecting rockets along the way), aim for the head and shoot. (also always hit the face, use gas grenades )

Assuming you don't have the rocket launcher (for whatever reason), use frag grenades. assuming you don't have those:
-any armor piercing weapon you have is the most effective (note that this is a weapon mod)
-there are three emp grenades in the area, one of which is in the room with the boss. these will stall him.
-when in doubt, move. don't try to take shots unless you can absolutely make them.
-keep as much distance as you can and stay under cover. do not get within melee range as he will grab you and hit you for 50% health minimum.
-the medical bay has a dose of painkillers, and there is at least one other inside the area. this will raise your health and can be applied before fight. there is an additional dose in the room with barrett.
-it's tricky and dangerous, but if you stun him with an emp grenade and get close (he will still grab you while under the effects, so be careful) you can cause him to drop grenades close enough to himself to harm himself.
-red barrels. really, no explanation here.
this fight took me about 7 minutes on normal (give me a challenge), no defensive or stealth augs, no frag grenades, and no rocket launcher. it also took about 4 hours worth of reloading.

I beat him on easy by letting him get up close; he'll punch the crap out of you, yeah, but if you have enough healing, you just keep shooting him in the face. it took about three cycles (punch, heal, shoot 4 times) before he went down.
