Whats the best weapon to use for the Protopet (Mutanted)?

I am stuck on the part where you have to beat the Protopet.What is the best weapon for the job? I am expecting that'll be something like the Zodiac or the RYNO 2, but if anyone knows what other weapon is bound to put the giant protopet to it's knees, that would be kind! P.S Any answers on my other question would be quite nice too. Thanx for reading.

Use the bouncer its a good weapon kuse if it explode it become little bombs that explode
