There's no specific area for helicopter to come an pick you as soon your time deplets from less than 30 seconds you will start hearing the helicopter noise and as the time goes on descend until it comes to 1 to 5 seconds the noise made by helicopter becomes large its an alert to you that you are about to picked up but if you wanna avoid being picked up simply run and pick another of those time-extensions and repeat until all of extensions are finished.
