I am not able to time correctly the time sequence

Okay listen u have to wait for the dagger to flare before attacking as soon as the dagger flare press the primary weapon button to time the strike correctly. if u press the button a little bit earlier or a little bit late the strike will be in an incorrect sequence and the giant will throw u off to the ground.
