This is what i did. hit him with a triangle chain and hit triangle and up every time until the chain ends. when its over just keep hitting him with super ki blasts, because he can't hit you but you can hit him. hold triangle or the y button if you have an xbox and it'll do it. i know its cheating but this is how i beat him both times.

Go to the world tournament it's located by the area where you fault the androids that way you will gain more stats and eventually be stronger than him....but i just got more super attacks to beat him
