Zombies question

On the title screen before you enter the map screen there is a globe with asteriods, there is a icon with the word NEW above it. What does new mean. And how do you access the new contents.

When it says new it means there's a new expansion pack for zombies which is Black ops revelations. It says new to everybodys screen. It's on the Playstation Store and costs 14.99 if want to get it.
