How do you damage Drill-X by throwing a pipe at him? What Skylander and what attack do you use to complete this task?

Any Giant. For the first round there are 2 pipes to hide behind to not get hurt by the explosions, any Giant can pick them up just like a boulder, and throw them like a boulder. Attack 1 or Action throws it far, Attack 2 or 3 throws it at your feet. (At least for boulders, I rarely actually pick up these pipes, but what I recall is the same). I think on the PS3 it's X or Triangle to throw far, Square or O to throw at your feet.
Note that at the end of the first round, Drill-X smashes these pipes, turning them into bouncy pads, so you'll have to do this during the first round.
