Equip the soul arrow spell.

slowly approach the red faced knight...continually pressing the r3 button. as soon as you are in range (the target reticule will show on the knight), fire the spell at him, and start backtracking.''firing, and backing up, firing backing up...he will chase, but every third shot will stop him in his tracks, and slow him enough to never catch you.

if he does catch you, forget it, he will hit you twice, and you're dead.

i imagine you could snipe with a good bow too, bit i had the soul arrow, before i ever had a bow (or enough arrows for one).

it helps to keep pressing r3, as well as r1, to make sure your shots are all hitting him, and so he remains targeted...you will need to him several times, but by the time you back up to the entrance to the bridge, where you first saw him, he will fall....takes about 12 shots, depending on your magic level, but you should be able to finish him off without exhausting all your blue magic power, or replenishing with spice.

now someone please tell me how to kill the guard after him in the silver suit!!!!

i have vit, srtgh, and end all over 22, and i can't do more than 3pts damage to him, ive used every weapon in the game!???

To beat the red night you have to lure him down the staircase with the slaves with turpintine dont sprint just jog. sometimes he falls other times you lure thru the gate and stand across the hole in the ground and hold up your shield and get 2070 souls.
