Any tips on last race for dollface's campaign?
The last racing level where you have to pass through checkpoint is insanely difficult! half of the time i don't know where the next checkpoint is going to be! and the ai are relentlessly good at getting every single one. it's totally frustrating!

Use kamikaze. at the second cp theres a narrow corridor, use shock freeze. it will buy you enough time so only crimson fury still a problem. simply lay super mines whenever you feel he cant avoid it. this strategy removes lot of pressure so you can focus on driving.

Kamikaze like urbankiller_qc said, actually kamikaze for all races imo.
as for the diesel city checkpoint race (event #5 for dollface) it's really not that bad on the twisted difficulty. several times i found myself out in front without much competition just by racing. make friends with the jump (l1 + r1) as you'll be able to jump over the concrete dividers on the highway stretches which can give you a easy way to pass opponents.
spots to watch out for after racing through the first parking garage (spiraling drive) and using the roof to get to the next building, you'll have a gap jump that you can easily miss if you don't turbo (aim for the checkpoint or just to the right of it)
another visual trick when you jump up a ramp into what appears to be a piece of a plane or a cylinder of some kind there is a checkpoint inside there...head out of the tube and just drop down and follow the street to the left (if you're going fast it kind of looks like you have to jump from the tube to the roof in front of you but there isn't a checkpoint there and you'll just confuse yourself)
the hardest part of the race is actually the very end after you hit the "last" checkpoint. one more pops up on the map (appears to be random) and you have to get there to detonate every other racer's bomb. keep moving and use your mini map to help you out. at this point anyone can win with some skill and luck you'll find it first.

Scratch what i said about the end of the race above...at the end of the race when you're up on top of the hill...drive across the broken radio tower/bridge and follow that "path". you'll be dropped into the street heading toward the freeway and a little mound of dirt that will allow you to ramp up onto the right side of the freeway. turn right and you'll see the health semi/bomb truck aka final checkpoint coming straight at you. again scratch what i said before as after doing this 12 times to verify the truck seems to be in the same spot each time (so the final checkpoint is not random)

My friend and I both mastered this level by following the other cars through the checkpoints. After 10 to 12 tries, I made it to the end first. Now we play this level almost exclusively and he has a fast time to the last checkpoint of 1:45 and I have one at 1:48. We leave all the enemy cars behind and never have to shoot at any of them. To do this, you have to use Crimson Fury and hammer the turbo 95% of the time but remember to let off, tight turn, and brake when needed. One shortcut is when you come out of the airplane tube, you can jump to the building and turbo to the street where the checkpoint is at the bottom of the ramp on the edge of the building. Another shortcut, you can actually climb straight up the last mountain to get all three checkpoints on it. Learn the path and all will be well.
