My sim can't delete the spooky food out the fridge

I made food and there is now when hover over the fridge flies around it, i try to grab the food and it's showing fridge or apple pancakes to choose i try select each one and it forms a speech bubble with my face with a line thro. can't delete item it's in use as well when i tried deleting fridge and food. please help, this glitch is the last straw like i've had so many problems
