Batarang won't go through gate to activate switch help??

I'm having this problem to. been trying it for days! i need help!

If you are where i think you are, you have to use the remote batarang and navigate it up the stairs and then over and backdown guiding it to hit the activate switch.

It won't fit through the gate. the openings are too small. you need to throw the remote control baterang and throw it at the top opening and look for a red button and hit it and it will open the side gate of the aqua lounge.
