Can't get past the beginning of the 3rd level
How do you get the portal in the 3rd level right at the very beginning to transport you down so that you can find the part for the hot air balloon

If I recall correctly, the teleporter should just be there. Actually, I believe the game wants you to check the character stats at this point, that might be what's getting in your way. I think the teleporter doesn't appear until you go to the character stats page (press the other Start button, I think it's called the Back or Select button, it's the one on the left side of the controller). Once you're there I think you can just exit back out and the teleporter appears.
