How do i get out of Chichen Itza.

I completed Chichen Itza already, and revisited it by talking to the npc. I picked up all the remaining trophies and pages etc that i missed the first time, but now i have no idea how to get out! The map shows no exit point. Just a red box in the north western corner which i have scoured with eagle vision, and tried killing all the people in the city too.

There should be a sign on your map the says exit
