I always use the evil one, its the sword that soma uses and its a freeze weapon with majorly high stats

Use blood surge rank 10 and serpent shield for shield and serpent cannon for higher blaze and for your control unit try the observer

There are mulitple combinations like
gun barrel= calando, att=2.10 with hidden attack and muted, or use laevatinenn g(get it by killing zeus)

sword blade=serpent warblade and blade rank 8 higher even dagger and yes rank 10 is good with sunder=410, freeze and spark=150 (blade att= 801 with upgrades) also you can get a rail blade(upgrade it to rank 8 higher,with 300 sunder and 130+ freeze and spark)

armor sheild= must have ensemble+,get it by killing arda nova(upgrade)
control unit= must have assassin
upgrades= just use them to match your swords stats

I dont know why but i hate using buster type weapon ( they're slow to attack ) i prefer mostly using long blade type (and short swords are just too weak)

I use
Blade : Wild Sword Laoyang, has Hold L and Combo Master, if in team battles and Traviata N, Venom L Debuff Attack and Mid Air Jump, for soloing
Gun : depends on the type of bullet I use but mainly crush types
Shield : Draken Shield E, every time with no exceptions, Stamina L Guard Speed Expand Guard Area Athlete
Control Unit : Gods Eater, mainly for the healing effect
Upgrades : Burst Shift, increases burst time to help with the control unit, and the other upgrade usually has Last 3 Minutes for Survival Instinct
