Question & Answers
Level 9 Bash problem
I have a level 9 fully upgraded Bash. Everytime I want to play as him and put him on my portal of power, it says that the Toy on the portal is not playable. I don't understand why because he is only about a week old out of the packaging and has no scratches. Why?
Answer from: (00)
Try reseting him and see if that will work.

How do you do that when you cannot 'play' as him? It registers that it is Bash and he has his Tricertops Honor Guards that I worked so hard for...

I know how it has done it to me you put the skylander next to the portal but lay the skylander down and put the green side next to the portal!!1

Don't listen to 00, trust me having to get all your upgrades back is a pain in the butt. I think my Bash is lvl 10. And a few months old but I don't seem to have that problem. Try turning your portal of power off then back on again.

Put new batteries in the portal of power

Oh yeah, I know how that feels, I once did that and omg, I almost died trying to get it all back because what I do, is start a new game and beat the entire thing with that same Skylander.

I have a few which cause similar problems... My best character, Stealth Elf, among them. I find if I put her off to the side, when it's trying to read her it'll flip through all the elemental symbols before giving me the error you listed. I find removing her and replacing her works, it seems to care WHERE on the portal she is. It only does this with certain characters (the Trigger Happy from the starter pack among them), so it seems to be an issue with the individual characters. Either try your Bash in different spots, or file a complaint with Activision or Toys For Bob to get a replacement. I've never done this because it's my beloved Stealth Elf, with whom I've put a lot of "work" and development, but if you truly can't get your Bash to work, even when trying different positions (I would also agree with 199's suggestion of trying him NEXT TO the portal), I don't see how you have a choice.
