Over the heads of the "locals" we have seen music notes, something that looks like a paw print, a squiggly something, etc - what are they for?
Answer from: mii on vacation
Go near the locals that have boxes or paw prints, etc over their heads until "talk" icon appears - press a on wii remote. the locals will talk to you. sometimes they will give you a hint to a suprise or just talk about the resort. the music notes are just locals or other players being happy. also, there are balloons around - pick them up (again, "a" when you get near them) and they will also give you info. and, when you see the locals and other players, wave to them (arrow left on wii remote) and they will wave back - i think you get a key or something when you wave at so many. you can check what you haveunder "records" by pressing the minus on your wii remote. have fun!
Answer from: Kawawii Boy
They are just emotes that people automatically do. music notes are for happiness, the 'paw print' is for surprise, the squiggle is for angriness (like if you crash into them), and the love heart is for when they love you/others.
