Can't find saved games
I can't seem to get to that last level that I played. I hit "save and exit" the last time I played. When I start the game I am in the batcave. I open the map and it doesn't show the level. It shows the last completed level so I replaying levels over and over. How do I find the saved version of the last level I played?

When you open the map there should be a bat signal......exit the batcave and go to the bat signal and the level will start from when you saved.

I've done that twice now and it started me back at the beginning of the level.

I am having the same problem. I have 2 different Lego Batman 2 saved games on my Wii and they both start at the beginning of the level. I started a 2nd new game to see if it a corrupted save but it doesn't appear to be that. I have seen a few others have similar issues.

I saved at the checkpoint near the end of the level and I've had to replay it about 7 times now. It's annoying.

I am having the same issues. I cannot however open the game at the flashing batman signal. I can only go into the last completed level and replay the level. I also tried getting into the level from the streets and I cannot do that either. I think there is a glitch in the system

I found you just go to the map in the batcave, find the level you are playing and it comes back once you hit, either story/freeplay mode. Whichever you were playing

Did anyone find an answer to this problem?
I'm sorry cmattjones1 but the map simply doesn't work as it should do.
The map won't work as it won't allow you to select the yellow bat signal. If you select the beginning of the level and replay in story mode it won't progress you beyond that level. So you're well and truly stuck. The only recourse is to start a new story from level 1 again.
I've been finding that in level 3, the character that you are not using gets himself into a situation where he just dies over and over. This means that you have to exit but then you can't get back there for the reason mentioned above.
It's a shame that this game is so buggy and full of glitches because it's great to play like the first one.

I've just found that mike10051982 was right. I checked the map in the batcave to see where the bat signal was. In my case it was Arkham in level 3. I then got into the batcar, drove to Arkham checking the map whilest doing so. Got out of the batcar and WALKED into Arkham. This last bit was catching me out as to start the level I drove into Arkham. Then when I spoke with Commissioner Gordon the game picked up at the last checkpoint.
