Nightmare mode issue
I beat the game. i looked and saw nightmare mode was available. i didn't select it. i waited a few days and decided to put it on nightmare mode. the kaos icon was gone and not available. what happened?

You're not trying to change the difficulty of your current save game are you? You can't change to (or from) Nightmare. You can only start a new game in Nightmare difficulty, and once you do you can't change that save game out of it to Easy or something.
And if that's not it... You can still see your saved game, right? You aren't in some other profile or something?
