How do i get the pixiel to shrink

In 5-4 around the processing door go to the right and you'll see a small red door. There is a door next to it. Enter it and there is a pixl named Dottie telling the cragnien to flee. Dottie then joins your team. Dottie can shrink the player. Dottie is a necessary pixl.
