To complete this mission, first and foremost you have to destroy all of the artillery positions and do it as quickly as possible. When the mission starts the first set of artillery is inbetween you and the first wave of incoming RAF fighters. You need to be able to take out all of the artillery here in 3 or 4 passovers while fending off the RAF fighters. Once you have destroyed the first set of artillery and the first wave of fighters you continue onto the next set of artillery and 2nd wave of fighters. At some point in ths phase of the mission you will be notified that your bombers are incoming. When this happens you must concentrate on protecting your bombers from the RAF fighters. If you're bombers get shot down, you lose the mission. Hopefully you will have destroyed all of the artillery and can focus on protecting your bombers. If you still have a few artillery positions to destroy, try bombing one of them each time you shoot down an RAF fighter. It took me several missions, but I finally completed it.

This level is driving me nuts too. I will try this plan, but it's what I am already doing essentially. It's one big pain in the butt. I have finished the soviet campaign already. Anyone have any new suggestions besides Ace of Spades? Thanks!
