Yes you do get space ships, which you shoot down and then help the spaceman find a lost part for a gift

You do. what happens is: at any time at all, a random ufo will slowly amble past your town in the sky. with your sling shot, you must shoot it down. (if you don't find it you will probably find it somewhere in your town the next day, just follow the direction it fell in, ok?) then when you find the ufo it will be broken and there will be a pleican (i think) outside. he claims he's an alien (i think he is!!! lol) and asks you to go around your town looking for his missing space ship parts. (i thinkt here are 4-5 peices you're asked to find) once you've found them all bring them back to the 'space alien' (pelican) and he will give you a rare item such as a statue pis, academy, or tribal mask. (these are rare as you can't buy them anywhere). then the 'space alien'/pelican will suddenly fix his ship and fly away after thanking you once again. this can happen a numerous amount of times, but the 'space alien'/pelican will not recognise you. i hope this has helped you!
