Question & Answers
My coconut trees keep on dying
Can you grow coconut trees near your house or do they only grow near the ocean?
Answer from: Lioness
You need to plant those type of trees in the sea (which means in the sand). Then, water it. Make sure your water it most of the time and don't overwater it though. If your town is sunny and dry, over water it. If it's rainy, water it at least twice a week. If it's moody (always/most of the time/sometimes different weather) or normal, your decide how to water it. Don't worry because most of the time, it will grow.

I know that, so you're saying they can't grow by your house? We have plenty of coconut trees by the ocean
Answer from: sarah
You have to grow them by the ocean
Answer from: Zero
I had that prob to so planted like in the water practically and didn't water it and it grew in like 5 days
Answer from: Ally
One day a coconut will wash up from the ocean on to the beach. Take your shovel and and dig a hole super close to the sand. Put the coconut in the hole. It will take about 5 days to grow so water the plant those 5 days. Once it is fully grown it will grow coconuts. You can shake the tree and the coconuts on the tree will fall down. You can plant the coconuts to make more trees or sell them for 500 bells. Coconuts will grow back on the tree. You don't have to water it every day because I didn't water my trees in 2 months.

I've tried growing them by my house too. They can only be grown by the ocean or on the grass near the ocean."
