There are four emotes with each theater person and there are two of them, i've only recieved four can you get all eight?

Yes you can get all eight emotes and when you do shrunk takes you to the top f the marquee

I tried to get all 8 but i had 2 keep changing them because i was only allowed 4:(

You can only have 4 at once.

I think you can only have 4 at a time but you can replace them until you have recieved them all.
