How do you kill the golem the 2nd time?

You get to the point where the golem is stuck in water and distroy all of the purple cristles on his bodey it is hard but im relly past it and iv completed the game after defeting malophor the evil dragon now that is what i call hard!!!!!

Or if it is not the one i am talking about this is it hit his hand until his head falls and distroy the purple cristle on his face do that twice!!!xxx
