Help me! how do i kill the large tree like creature at the very beginning of the game?

Make sure you dont get squished and prake the thing your being holeded down bye then hit his hand until you done it!!! i now because i completed it good luck!! there is lots i mean lods of more harder things then that seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you mean the golem. coz' if you do its easy just hit its hand of use one of your elements on its hand. and if you mean one of the big green things then use....
spyro's electricity and cynder's poisen... to kill it. oh and try not to get flattend.
