Thorny maze in frightfest?

I found the thorny maze, but every time i can't get to the ghost or either of the digging spots. can anyone help?

Read the tombstones, up=highest speedweed in area down=lowest speedweed in area, wait, have you completed the "goth" quest? when you reach the goth area there should be a total of three speedweeds in that area.
