Unless there is some glitch in your game, you use velma the same way as always. after the she gets close to the little box, so the "z" box shows, you press "z" on the nunchuk. then when the color wheel pops up, watch the order that each color lights up and using the "up,down,left,right" button (sorry don't know what it is called) on the top of your remote copy the color order - what you are actually following in the color placement, since there is no coordinating color on the button. for example if yellow lights up, press the top of the +, or green press the bottom. after you get the right order the wheel should spin and then the gate will open. hope this helps.
