Stuck in the ancient cistern

What do you do after you have climbed up the thread, to restore the stone statue to its original form? i have seen the clue about the order being the back then rear, back of the right hand then the back of the left but i cant figure out what to do next, please help.

After bringing the statue to original you climb down the thread where you just climb.
