How do you throw objects?

I am stuck at a veiled threat. i can lift the objects but i can not seem to throw them at the death eaters. is there a button i should be pressing when they are in the air? please help! i am stuck on this board. (playing on 360)

On the 360, hold the b button to raise the object into the air and then press rb + (l-forward) to throw the object.
