Make an obsidian frame up from the ground that is 4 blocks along the bottom and top, and 5 up the sides, then light the inside with flint and steel. (obsidian can be found in caves and mined with a diamond pickaxe or made by putting water on lava, then mining with a diamond pickaxe)

U shouldnt try 2 mine obsidian on minecraft360 i wasted my diamond pickax. u should mine iron ore and make 14 pails of lava and 14 other pails 4 water but i suggest getting a few extra pails 4 the lava and just get a ladder going 2 the surface 2 make getting water easier. u should make a stone and dirt model first so u dont make mistakes. the obsidian will hav a rectangular shape, once u hav all that done, u will need the water/ lava buckets u made earlier, and pour a water bucket in the spot where yor portal will b. then u pour the lava right in the same spot you just poured the water. then u just repeat the process until u get a frame that is four blocks wide, by five blocks tall. then u just need 2 light the obsidian frame with flint and steel and enter the nether.

If you go to the minecraft sign by stacking blocks up there than dig through the black stuff which is wool you will find a portal to the nether there inside the sign.
