How do I make a mob spawner without the trap part?

I dont believe you can make a spawner yet for the Xbox 360 version unless for silverfish. For silverfish enter creative mode and place either the "silverfish stone" "silverfish cobblestone" or "silverfish stone bricks". save the game (note that if you save with creative mode activated all leaderboard scores and achievements will not be updated) then enter survival mode and destroy the blocks you placed. the silverfish will appear out of these blocks unless set on peaceful difficulty.

All you have to do is make a dark room no light at all and. When time has passed break it open to see what was inside. It be careful of skeletons they will shoot through the hole beak in the top. I hope this helps :3
