Stuck on sixth mission
I'm on the 6th mission where you have to dive bomb the Japanese carrier and as soon as I return to the Enterprise I shoot down the Zeroes but nothing happens. What can I do to finish the mission?

I have the same problem. When I sink the Japanese carrier I am told to go back to my fleet and once I get there I am told to clear out the Japanese fighters. When I am done clearing the Japanese fighters nothing happens. I cannot land or do anything but get out of the game. Please help.

I got it! Before you take out the carrier make sure you take out all planes and I mean all of them even the ones they tell you not to shoot down. When you sink the carrier and head for your fleet there should be no enemy planes in the air at all until you reach your fleet.

When I take out all the planes then the carrier and head back to the fleet I encounter four more enemy planes that I destroy but then I am stuck again and can not complete the mission.

I had the same problem. I had to turn off the xbox, reboot it, restart the mission from the beginning, and it turns out there are something like ten planes that you have to shoot down before you can land. if it only gives you four, it appears to be a glitch, and restarting from the last checkpoint doesn't solve the issue.
