How do i defeat ALL enemies in the club bam bam mission easily and survive

In the melee part before you get a gun... go onto the dance floor on the left side of the bar ... they don't seem to want to go in their. Then just grab them one by one and kick the crap out of them. Oh, by the way, watch out for the guys with knives.
