Ok, here's what you do exactly. Sneak up the hill to his encampment, instead of going right and around to his front, take a left following the tall grass around the back of the tents. The tall grass will create a path around the outside perimeter of his base. Which you will follow until you come to an area, where only a single officer is posted. Assassinate him, then turn towards Petrain, and you'll see a climbable tree, follow the path the tree branches lay, and then jump to the top of the flagpole to finish Petrain off for one seriously epic looking assassination. You shouldn't need to kill anyone but the officer and Petrain, but if someone spots you just break their line of site, lure them towards you into the high grass(granted they don't bring friends along) and take them out. Do not use whistle as it will attract too many reds, or your bow since it requires you to expose yourself to fire.

Climb up to the encampment, instead of going right where there are fewer enemies, go left around the backside of the tents, the tall grass will follow all the way around with only 2 regulars that might spot you but can be assassinated easily. Follow it around until you come to an area of tents guarded by only a single officer. Kill him, then climb the tree next to the cliffside. Follow the branches until you can jump to the top of the flag pole, then assassinate from the top of the ol' onion jack epic assassin style. NOTE: do not use whistle in this area as it will bring more guards than can be assassinated without bringing attention, or your bow since you must expose yourself to fire.

I used a smoke bomb and took him out with a sword quick!
