Use a created player in be a pro
How can i do be a pro but play with myself, a created player, not this russian guy
Answer from: Jon
Create a player and but him on whatever team you want to play as. then go the be an nhl pro and select your player from the team you placed him on.
Answer from: Dan
I have the same problem, and that is not the solution. I want to do be a pro, not be an nhl pro. I want to start in the Memorial cup run, and then get drafted. I create players, edit players, reset rosters, everything. I never get the option to choose a player, it always has this default guy Tom Perry...
Answer from: Travie B
When you go to start a career you will see the option "Edit Pro" click that pick the position and change the name and looks and junk... then continue on the way you normally do.. You will then see your person instead of the russian dude.. It took me a few minutes to figure that one out as well
Answer from: Brad
This appears to be a significant issue. In BE A PRO it always defaults to someone named LARS for me, I can NOT edit the name, stick-side, age, NOTHING.
Answer from: Brad Lyons
But that's the problem, it will NOT let you edit the player's name, age, stick side, etc. NOTHING. It's a serious bug, and very frustrating!
Answer from: Mark
You have to edit your pro. In the menu before you load your Be a pro go into edit pro. This should allow you to edit your name. Then load be a pro. Let me know if this helps.
Answer from: Kris
The post that said you go into "Edit Pro", then choose the position then create the player by changing name and everything. That worked for me.
Answer from: Jay
Yes, if you select edit pro before you load the pro, you can edit all the information (name, height, weight, birthplace etc) but for some reason, it doesnt actually transfer over to when I load my pro. It still the same number and all the original information from before I edited it. Anyone else have this problem?
Answer from: Doug
Jay, I have the same problem, I am already playing in the mode I was drafted to the Avalanche I just want to change my players name and number
Answer from: hi

Answer from: Jenkins
Hi, your post worked for me to start a pro career with my player except that you can't change be attributes of player... So frustrating EA!
Answer from: EASUCKS
When I go into be a pro and select edit player, it doesn't allow me to change his name, hometown or anything... I always have to be 6'0'' Roman Birkholz from Vancouver
Answer from: Barns
Other game modes / be a pro / edit pro / choose position you want to create yourself as /
