You need to talk to her as you approach her, however there's a glitch which I'm also experiencing where the conversation option won't appear meaning you always get shot.

I was having this problem too. You have to walk step by step and stop whenever she says something and you must always be looking up and the options will pop up.

Nothing does work ! I tried install other version, i tried tap W, D buttons, I tried to stop when she says about 6345 times, I tried change some decisions I've made... NOTHING !!

Okay some say there is a glitch, maybe for some there is because they can stop moving but I saw something somebody said, you have to aim the options icon lower at her knees, you have to do it a few times as she keeps backing up. but the idea is if you aim lower, below the waist you will get the option for dialog. just don't make her angry

Fina,Bloodily! Stressed myself out trying to get past this spot, have done all of the below and had to give up!!! Got home from work and tried again reluctantly and after 3rd attempt got it, Aim at the hostages right hip and inch forward until she aims at you, Stop them move curser about only over hip suggested and Bam! Got options to choose, But have to repeat until you get a a Zombie treat.... Enjoy, SoulJedi.

I tried about 20~30 times and finally solved, Important thing is when brenda aims to me(just before shoot) DO NOT MOVE and move your mouse slightly over. then you'll make the conversation option, enjoy.

The way that worked for me was to stop moving as soon as she points at me and flail the cursor around and the option popped up

I thought it was a glitch too but its not after doing it about a billion times I figured it out out have to keep ur cursor around her hip and just very very slowly creep and do this like 3 times and zombie will get her

Its very easy, when ever she says stop or i will shoot, just stop and don't move, once she stops talking wait for few seconds and continue moving and if she says stop just do it, the option will come out and click the block on your pad to talk to brenda. Continue doing this until you will see the last option to get out from there.

In case anyone is still having this issue on Xbox. The reason your failing is because the movement stick. Is still registering that your moving foward. The key is to move foward and to stop dead in. Your tracks, move the right analog stick around. The one with the options. Worked for me.

Ok so i had loads of trouble with this. On the ps3 very slowly bit by bit. Tiny steps walkin forward. The old lady will eventully point her guna at you, thats when the box should pop up to chat. If she shoots u all the time it probably the glitch try going slower. An try loads of times. It took me 30+ goes. Dont give up

I timed my movements with when she looked away from me. The moment her eyes went to the hostage, I took a step forward. I kept inching closer and closer until the chat bubble finally appeared and then repeated the process until it was over.

I had trouble with this for a while after doing alot of reading up on this problem i found the best solution for xbox is to let go of the analog stick completely when she points the gun at you instead of pulling back it works and its strange but try it!
