So sad that lee is Gona die I thought he n clementine were look out for each other n grow old together but then again I also thought Carla n lee were Gona settle down n raise clementine together as a family. This plot sucks butt. Wish I wuda never bought it it's to disappointing

Don't you know that everyone is already infected? It's an airborne virus that activates once a person dies from maybe a festering wound, food poisoning, dehydration or anything else a regular person would die from without medicin.. If Lee manages to take care of his hand so it doesn't get worse, he'll be fine!

@Jaybob: I thought that if you are bit by a walker their saliva is like a disease that causes an almost innevitable fate..doesn't it? I'm just thinking in conjuntion with Hershel on the show, they hacked off his leg after he was bit. But if caring for a bite like a regular old wound were the case...wouldn't they have just been better off dousing it with some hydrogen peroxide instead of de-limbing him?

Sigh, no one is infected without touch of a walker, think logically! The reason for an infection is: get hurt by a walker OR an object used to kill a walker. The reason the guy from Episode 2 turned into a walker was because Lee cut his leg off with the axe he used previously to kill OTHER walkers. There was still some stuff left on the axe and thats why he got infected ;-) its all logic!

@ StupidSteve: wrong. Everyone is indeed infected and when you die, you turn (see Shawn in the comics, shot to death and turns). Walkers' bites kill, unless you cut the wounded leg / arm immediately (and blood loss is more likely to cause quicker death). Rule is : you get bitten and let the infection spread => you die. You die => you turn, whatever the cause of death.

SteveSteams: dude in The walking dead universe they are all infected whether they are bitten by a walker or not they will still turn into a walker. A bite from a walker will give some disease that can be deadly the victim dies and turn into a walker. it is revealed by Ben Paul when his friend turn into a walker and robert kirkman himself explained it. Shooting directly into the brain is the only way not to turn into a walker after death.

Maybe thier partialy already infected and a walker bite tops the tank or they die and their immune system isnt fighting it any more
